My responsibilities for this project included leading the UX/UI Designer through the entire UX design process. The design deliverables for this project included: personas, user flows, low & high fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, coordinating & moderating multiple usability testing sessions, re-iterating mockups based on user testing feedback, and working with front-end developers & QA on implementation.
This is an internal application which we are currently building for the Post Production Feature Versioning team. This tool will provide the Post Production team with a new workflow, taking them away from Excel spreadsheets and onto this web application. This project is currently far into the development phase, and is set to launch in January of 2020.
Our Design Process
Strategy & Discovery
We began by understanding who our users are, and their current workflow. Their current process is done using Excel spreadsheets, which is what we used as a starting point for our content analysis. We also conducted user interviews to understand their pain points. When I realized that there was a lot of data our users were working with daily, we performed a card sorting exercise to help with the information architecture.
