My contribution towards the 1st iteration of this application was around managing the design workflow & workload for the assigned designer, reviewing their work, & providing guidance/direction when a design challenge was faced. I was involved in the UX/UI design for V2 including wireframes, mockups, & led stakeholder discussions for requirements gathering, design reviews, & demos.
This application was designed for IMAX executives to keep track of release dates, by week, for IMAX and non-IMAX titles & enables them to make quicker & more informed decisions when considering whether a future title should be in IMAX.
Problem: When the IMAX executive team were considering a new title for IMAX screens, there was no central place where information was gathered about why we might book the title, so that analysis took place in Excel.
Solution: Create a mobile & desktop-friendly way to capture & view information on a title (including other internal apps & Comscore integration), for the purpose of deciding whether to greenlight a title or not. Includes capturing of key title attributes, comparative, & competitive, tabs for quicker & more reliable decision making.
